Detailer's Domain: Techart Magnum - Massive Paint Correction
This is truly a rare breed. We put 20 hours into this one. Just about everything was done to this one, full interior, engine detail, full exterior paint correction.
Heavy swirls, scratches, holograms galore. I believe the customer was pretty happy with the grin on his face. What was done - Exterior - Wheels were prepped with Sonax Wheel Cleaner and cleaned up with various brushes - Tires were spritzed down with Adam's All Purpose Cleaner and washed down - Wheel wells were cleaned up - Wash down and rinsed - Door jambs were cleaned up - Clayed - Dried - Tires dressed - Masking - 3 Step Paint correction (Meg's M105, Something being tested ; ) ) - Inspection with Fenix, 3m Sun Gun, Infratech, and natural sunlight - Last Step - Menzerna Power Lock and Lusso Oro - Rubber and Plastics Treated - Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed - Exhaust tips cleaned - Windows were clayed and sealed Engine -Cleaned - Dressed Interior -Leather Cleaned and conditioned -Dash and plastics cleaned -Vacuumed -Mats cleaned Products used: (feel free to click the link below for more info) Exterior: Lusso Auto Bathe Adam's All Purpose Cleaner Uber Yellow Wash Sponge Uber Clay Bar kit with Optimum No Rinse Einszett Spray Wax Meg's M105 Something being tested for the final steps of polishing ; ) Swissvax Shield Wheels/Tires Uber Wheel and Tire Kit Adam's Super VRT Glass Adam's Glass Cleaner Adam's Glass Sealant Engine Adam's APC Adam's In and Out Spray Interior Sonax Dashboard Cleaner Sonax Leather Foam Tools: Infratech 5300 Fenix TK11 Brinkmann Fenix TK40 Flex 3403 Makita Metabo The Uber Foam Pads (5.5inch) Tons of "Uber" Microfiber Towels Uber Drying Towels Brushes Cam Spray Pressure Wash and Foam Canon Attachment Interior - not much here but a nice vac, leather cleaning and conditioning Before After Engine before Adam's APC and some brushing Engine after (Adam's In and Out Spray was used to dress it up) Before shots Wheel Before Sonax Full Effect Wheel Cleaner in action Adam's APC lifting dirt off the tires Stripping everything off the car Wash Shot of the paint after everything was stripped Sorry missing clay shots (windows and paint were clayed) Measuring paint Masking Derek masking up the sills We used some paper to block dust coming into the grill. Polishing shots (50/50) - holograms, swirls, scratches, bird etching you name it all in the book......I will let the pics do the talking Pillars Before After More polishing needed but here are some pics of the difference Rear qtr Rinse and dried before final touches Dried up and ready to go Exhaust were polished out. I hate to see black all jacked up like that, glad you guys fixed it! Black is my favorite when all cleaned up, I don't think I could handle it on my personal car.
