Carbon leather wrap
Hi Everyone, new member here with new news!
I was speaking with Sal just a while ago for getting my E90 interior trims wrapped with carbon fiber. He instead suggested the new carbon leather trim looks even more fab. I am into all matt finish and therefore very interested in getting this done. Suggestions anybody??? Sal gave me a quote of $300 all incl for ALL the panels and suggested he could work out a deal for a group buy of 10. With 2 grp buy threads already in place does it harm to add another one? Thank you. btw, since i am new on this forum and if i have broken any rules; request a little patronage from all. Folks, pl chime in and here I start. 1. DrVodka |

Musclez, thanks for the pictures.
For the rest of us, traditionally we have been wrapping our trims in CF Di-Noc. Lately BMW has been offering Carbon Leather (CL) trim on the M's. The difference (as explained by Sal) is CL's matt, and more leather-like to touch. I am not sure if it's thicker too than Di-Noc. Following links would help: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=112763 http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=501115 - real close http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=340418 - This one shows the diff between real CL trim and the wrapped one. I am sure we would not get the stitches for sure Lion, Sal custom wraps the trims (these are not pre-cut sheets) so I am sure this would work for you. You may however drop in on a Friday evening and pick the trims early Monday. Best part, your car WOULD drive with the trims out at ACM !!! - Dr. |
