Kenwood KOS-V500
Does anyone have any experience with the Kenwood Car Portal products KOS-V500/V1000? I am curious if this is a way to add functionality without disturbing factory head unit. If I am reading correctly Factory HU signal (CD, radio) goes into Kenwood unit and then into amp - factory or otherwise. The advantage being you can add all accessories you want, BT, iPod, satellite, nav at a lower cost. Only downside I see is mounting screen. Thoughts?
