335i sport springs on an XI?!?!

Read many posts and threads but can't seem to find a straight answer. I installed Dinan springs and rear drop is perfect. Front is still a bit high. Typical XI issues. Looking for an affordable way to drop the front a half to a full inch. Thanks smart guys!

I think the reason for the bigger fender gap in the front of the vehicle is due to the fender opening is higher than the rear fender opening. Otherwise, I would think that the spacer plate on the front strut mounts could be removed to lower it...though I don't know what that would do for the threaded studs sticking proud at the strut tower.

I was in the same boat, no one on the forum had a straight answer on i vs XI sport springs. Leaving some XI guys that bought i springs with ride quality problems.

Ended up calling H&R customer service, and there is a difference between springs. I can't remember if the difference from i and XI is the rear springs making the fronts the same. Or the other way around.

All I do know is to get Part #50494.

I've read that i springs will physically fit the XI strut perches.

However, the i springs are too soft and stiffer springs are required for the front; the front i springs have a lower spring rate than the stiffer front xi springs.

As for the appeared rake when using DINAN springs, I noticed that optical illusion; but I confirmed that the ride height just behind the front wheel is identical to the ride height just in front of the rear wheel.
