KW V2 and V3 true coilover conversion kit
Many of you have puchased this true coilover conversion kit for your KW system and have worked out well. Instead of replying to each PM with photos, here is some quick photos of the conversion kit. The basic front only kit consists of a custom upper spring perch, Swift springs, and Swift thrust sheets. The complete kit will come with rear Swift springs, Swift thrust sheets, and a pair of rear height adjusters.
The bottom photo is the front kit mounted on KW struts, one with the stock upper mount, and the other with Vorshlag camber plate. ***Slight machine shop work is required for the front lower spring perch, which can easily be done at a local mahine shop*** A wide variety of spring rates are available to choose from or we can make a recommendation for you. Camber plates is optional but recommended if you are attending HPDE or track days. Last edited by HP Autosport; 12-09-2009 at 01:28 AM.. |

Looks interesting. Will these work with KW Street Comforts? What advatanges will I realize by adding these to my SC setup? Will those springs make the ride harsher?

The ride will depend on your spring selection. At the same rate, the Swift springs and thrust sheet combo will ride better anyday! |

This is a great upgrade for those running KW V2 or V3, and to improve them for street comfort or HPDE/Track Days.
For those needing more feedback from an independent party, "Orionredwing" has installed the complete system and wrote a great review on it: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=316635 |

Contemplating this or the AST 4100 SA with Swifts. If my overall cost is equal, which set up is better?
