Dude that's better than what he quoted me. He wanted $500 for a resonator and muffler delete.

Nice. The size of those tips look serious!

I'd love to do this to my e90. I think the cost plus a 335i rear diffuser might be worth the look. (of course after selling a 328/330i diffuser)

good result then. nice

1 last question, but its been a while so you might not remember. I'll try to ask regardless.

1. Did you gain or lost torque from transition from stock to PE?
2. Did you gain or lost torque from transition from PE to Dual conversion solution?
3. Did you gain or lose torque from transition from dual conversion to Cat delete?

For sure in the image/looks + sound department the pay off was worth it... im with you on this bro, but i also wonder how much of penalty in power was sacrificed. Most say not much but others say its noticeable. But then again all of them would say its worth it from improved result in sound.

I'm thinking of removing the secondary cat. However, smog shops are very strict these days. They might check.

Thanks for the nice comments

I had gains in torque from the PE and the Cat delete... Lost torque on the dual-conversion. All in all, I'm back to square 1 IMO.

Hope this helps!

Bumping old thread. Hows the conversion been?
I'm really thinking about doing this now as I see that it worked out great for you!

It's been very good. I'm impressed by how well everything's been holding up.

One thing that "could" bother you is that we can see the muffler on one side rather than both. Any suggestions as to how I can remove the asymmetric-ness of the rear?

I'll post pictures soon when the weather heats up and I'll do my spring-wash.

Advance auto sells high temp paint (I think it's meant for painting engine components. It's been holding up great. No rust either

Yup the piping is really nothing special to do, it's just turns and bends. Any muffler shop should be able to do it for you. My setup has been great all along dude, no regrets. I really recommend people to do it!
