A friend of a friend works at a bodyshop, so I had it done for $100. Also as you can see, there are no screws holding it on from the front, all six were drilled through the bottom where they were supposed to go. So if you see an ACS front lip spoiler with any visible screws, then it was not installed correctly.

Is it just an impression or are the plastic parts inside the fog lights blocking the brake cooling ducts?

I guess ACS felt that the two holes flanking the central intake would be adequate. I honestly have no idea what effect it's having if any though.

very nice Greg!

Does that mount over the stock front skirt or you have to take the stock one off? (exposing myself to a n00b hit here)

It goes right ontop, the only things that has to be removed are the lower diffuser inserts on the left and the right of the bumper, the center one stays put. A special glue holds it all around, while 6 screws provide extra support from the bottom. It's even 100% compatible and infact designed to still allow the stock foglights to function.

It's tempting me to do the rear bumper piece now, that one also attaches on top so nothing's wasted.

I wouldn't and didn't use any glue....mine actually had a really good fit and I just cut about three small peices of heavy duty double sided tape to hold it on. Mine had seven (7) screws on the bottom that matched up with the factory seven holding the bumber on, I just removed the factory ones and replaced them with the new ones. I was afraid if the lip gets damaged and it is glued on rather than taped it would be much harder to remove it without having to remove the bumper cover also.

So you didn't use the kit (http://www.e90post.com/forums/attach...1&d=1177033905) that came with it at all?

I got some primer stuff, some glue stuff in a tube.. & the screws, and the little stickers.

I just used the screws and some heavy duty double sided tape from lowes...I really could have gotten away without that but there would have been one little gap in the front that I didn't like. If you put it in right the fog lights actually help hold it and the bar across the front also helps as long as you don't shave the ends more than about 1/8" makes for a nice snug fit. I removed the bumper cover which took all of about 10 minutes and made for removing the side grills simple. I think it took me about 1/2 hour start to finish...I should do a write up on it., b/c I could not find one when I did a search.

That would be a great idea, I was looking for one prior to having a bodyshop install it.

It was simple....just needed a few minor tools. I'll see what I can do.
