Temps are a huge factor. If you run meth, it will help to mitigate the problem with much lower IATs. I pick up a solid 6mph from running map #2 91 octane and map#3 91+meth injection, (50 additive). My Iats went from 120F at the end of the qtr mile to about 65F. (55F ambient). 80F temps will absolutely kill you. To put it into perspective, see what other muscle cars are doing, Stock 5.0 Stangs, LS3 Vettes, etc. They may run 112-116mph in ideal conditions. But my last trip to Fontana the 5.0 was barely trapping 106mph. Did you see what any other stock cars were trapping at?

re
hotrod, You are right about the temps. You're making me want to get meth sooner than later! The other cars, ie Shelby GT500 was running 13.1 @ 107, 12 Boss 302 13.05 @ 108. In better conditions these should be much faster traps.
