Ebay M3 Rep Bumper arrival

Long story short
After waiting for 2 weeks from ModMy3 to receiver my bumper I got an e-mail that the freight company had damaged it...

Michael and David were very professional and communicative, refunded my bumper money right away and offered to overnight me a bumper....BUT....They ran out of stock.

I decided to give this ebay listing a try though and I am glad to say that I had the bumper to my front door within 4 days of placing the order, product is looking extremely well built.....$349 out and Delivered with Free shipping.....Not bad

P.S
Sorry about the messy V.I.P Garage, we just moved in, I am thinking of having an M3 painted over rob's Cadillac on my wall (A.K.A Vanilla Ice)

Ebay Sellers link:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/111148211655...84.m1439.l2649

Also needed is the H8/H11 Harness to 9006 conversion:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/H11-TO-9006-...3e70ff&vxp=mtr

I will take care of the painting, I have painted many many before

Around $80.00 for Parts from automotivetouchup.com

and I can attest to this place for Color matching:
http://www.automotivetouchup.com/tou...paint/buypaint

*****FITMENT pics bellow 9/18, Note: there is absolutely no gap, is more flash than the OEM, it's just that I didn't went through the hassle of putting every single bolt ******
Here is one of the many good DIY Videos on youtube:

Update from page 3 PMd question:
To everyone else, if you do take this to a shop and you tell them that it is an M3 bumper do not let them tell you that you need the M3 mounting bracket, they will assume it does because of the brake air ducts not fitting with this bumper.

You do not need the M3 bracket, you just need to clip the brake air ducts.

Looks great. Would you mind posting up a link to the seller that you purchased from?

Every shop is going to be different. Regular rate for a bumper should be $300-$400.

Might want to wait till he reports how the fitment is.

Agreed on the fitment, it was my understanding that most vendors got theirs from the same place overseas. Just for reference where was yours from? Fitment looks perfect.

Most vendors do, however with all of these new extremely cheap bumpers popping up on eBay who really knows.

I actually got mine locally so I can't provide much help. Search in this section for ebay M3 bumper because a few guys have had luck.

Yes sir, this will be my 4th bumper to paint in my lifetime. Not really for the faint of heart, need to have ample ventilated space and just take your time. My father was/is a pro painter, one of the many good lessons passed down to me

Are you getting all your paint from the link above?
Will you be using flexible specific primers and paints?
How many cans do you think you will use to finish the bumper?

I love these types of projects..I have painted several body parts as well as rebuilt and painted plastics on motorcycles..

Yes I have used them twice before. Painted my Erricson Replica trunk, (best AW Match...period). And also wife's silver c70 convertible rear right quarter panel and rear bumper (scrapped the side of our old garage )

2 Cans should be enough,
a primer and a 2K clearcoat
