Is this a good deal?

So I am planning on installing the Bilstein B12 pro kit and front upper and lower m3 control arms on my 2013 e92 335i. I called a local shop and I was quoted $500 for install and alignment. I am wondering is this a good deal?

I just installed the front arms last week. Somehow it took me a good 8-10 hours in the parking lot (I live in an apartment), probably because the damn arms wouldn't fit into the subframe so I had to sand some frame down and pound them in there. It was just very tedious and physical. If you like saving money and you have the tools, I'd do the job.

That's an amazing deal. Alignment is typically $80-120, so they're doing your control arm install PLUS shocks/struts/springs all around for around 400 bucks. I got a good deal on my control arms install and still paid $200...leaving only $200 in labor for the 2-4 hours it'll take to do the B12 install.

I think its fair with the alignment if you don't want to do the work yourself. The convenience of installing and walking out of there already aligned is probably worth the bit extra. Smaller shops charge $200 for just spring/coilover installs, so this sounds about right.

Seems like a good deal. Is this a shop you trust? Is this a shop that has experience working on BMWs?
