My experience with Porsche and updates didn't leave me full of praise. when my Cayman went in to have the doors auto lock after driving off, it took 2.5 hours to do.
When I went to the service desk awash with coffee shaking and desperately needing a pi##. I was told they had to link to Germany for such updates, can you believe it, how ridiculous is that and because of the wanky small battery Porsche fit to it’s cars, the engine was running the whole time

Errm....thanks but.....no.

My next car ain't going to be a Porsche. My experience has been soured especially as the OPC ask all sorts of cheeky questions to try and decipher if I've modded the car and find a way out of sorting it. Unusually for me, I haven't and they can't get out of it so they're stuck with fixing it.

Which leads me onto the fact that the software updater didn't work and it broke again today (before I got it back...luckily for them).

I'll be back in probably an AMG as soon as realistically possible.

Couldn't justify £8K price hike (nearly £13K with discount) for slightly more power a few chassis and aero tweaks so afraid it's the 2010 model although have got it on a 11 plate will drop you a pm over the weekend

What is happening at Goodwood? Track day or revival?

The Beetle appears to be fixed but nevertheless, it goes tomorrow for good (see my other thread 'This time it's for real').

I'm going to miss the thrust that the car delivers but to be honest, I think the Maserati will give more satisfaction. Hey, at least you'll finally have a quicker car than me (and no, you never did before )
