im really itching to get a diffuser. I might just end up making my own if a vender cant start soon enough. I really want to run my dual quads and its one of the last things i want to do to my car at the moment.

Hey guys
Sorry for being quiet... As most of you know I'm working on one for the m-tech at the moment which is consuming my time now... I will however be starting work on the non-m-tech version first thing next week... I'll hopefully be able to post some development pics within the next 2 weeks. Thanks for your patience! I should have something more substantial for you soon... |

Ok, it's time to make a decision:
If you take a look at the pics of the vinyl, we have a choice to make. The vinyl doesn't cover the entire "recessed" section of the bumper. When I start designing this thing, do I make it span the entire recessed section, or do I bring the sides in a bit? I'd imagine that I'd probably need to span the entire section for it to look good. Since I'm going to the moulders on Monday to get this project started, I'll take a view of your guys comments before hand and let that sway my decision either way. Let me know what you think... |

The idea is to make a diffuser so we DON'T have to get a bumper and paint.

Klove - I think you and me are on the same page. I also want one that follows the lines of the indent all the way to the sides of the bumper with a lip around the edge including the exhaust opening and fins...

Well, the bumper is sitting with the moulders now. He's got an idea of what we're interested in. The frustrating part is that he can only start work on it next wednesday
But, we're getting there... He says he might be able to have something to show us by Friday next week. That'll basically be an idea for the pattern for the mould - if you've seen the other thread I have going on the M-Tech diffuser you'll know what I'm talking about. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...=458133&page=2 About half way down you'll see a small pic of the preliminary work... Hold thumbs guys! |
