I'd have to assume so. Numbers will be great. Probably as fun to drive as an H1 Hummer though. Would take a Ford GT, Carrera R and a dozen Miatas over this though.

Maybe

Time will tell.. I would hope VW would bring all the wonderful performance hands from Porsche, Lambo and Audi/ Bentley Racing teams over to ensure it handles.. Not just in a str8 line

Much like the gorgeous two tone paint, that car is art and menace at the same time.
I will enjoy this one on youtube just like the previous one.

Most likely, if it's running an $800 JB4 kit.

Gorgeous. Many more "function over form" elements on this car compared to the Veyron but it remains a marvel of engineering and design, just as a Bugatti should be. The throwback elements of the design are also very cool and distinctly Bugatti (though that will be lost on most of the rappers/athletes who will buy this car).

Real Bugs were small, precise cars, outside of the Royale. This is neither.

That's absolutely untrue. They built many models of cars - some small and some incredibly large, even by today's standards. The small Bugattis were usually the racing cars. The street cars came in all different sizes. The Veyron and Chiron are street cars.

Taken directly from their website: "The Bugatti family and brand history: more than 100 years of exclusivity, elegance, passion, brilliant technical achievements and perfection."

Exactly. My Lotus, with 190hp and no carpets or sound deadening, weighed in at 2,100lbs. Why is it surprising that this car, with 12 additional cylinders, 4 additional turbos, and 1,310 extra hp, would weigh only twice as much? I think it's a fucking miracle...

Claiming 100 years of history is a little dubious. Nothing outside of the name is common.

And yeah, the two are road cars, in the way a Forester is an SUV.

Just look at the less powerful, rwd Koenigsegg which is able to catch the Chiron just after 200 kph and just runs away from it.

Aside from being owned by a major brand, Bugatti is following the little guys at the top tier of performance.
