Make sure you strap the spare in the trunk down with a moving ratchet strap or something pretty heavy duty. If you were to strike something hard or fast enough, it becomes a projectile from the rear coming forward. If it hits you, it will probably decapitate you.

IMO the RFT's are best at preventing catastrophic tire failures at freeway speeds. It may possibly mean one less insurance claim... Any other use is not useful at all
It also lets the lazy people drive directly to a tire shop instead of stopping in the middle of nowhere. I'm sure people on here could care less at pulling over to change a tire, but I guess if you are a soccer mom it's different. But we also know how some people are adamant against putting RFT's on because of the crappy ride quality, and the fact that it costs an arm and leg, lol. Oh yea... I would have to concur about the slime part... On top of the possibility of getting the machine operator queasy, it takes a good 30 minutes to clean a tire machine after the gunk comes out of the tire. And you have to clean it RIGHT AWAY meaning the machine is down for half an hour, on top of the $$ you pay your guys to do it... I really really hate that stuff!
