Turbo's going out

Is there is simple way to see if my turbos are leaking or going out? I feel a loss of power.

Or get a snake cam and look in that way if possible. You may also find oil in the downpipes, which would be slightly easier to access.

Snake cam through the exhaust? Water jacket is on the compressor side so you would see no oil there unless you have major shaft play.

Do you have the ability to data log and check for underboost that may be caused by a vacuum leak and not bad turbos?

Yes, through exhaust. It would be effectively the same as you're suggesting just a more convenient way than pulling the downpipes and o2 sensors. That's how I usually detect and diagnose turbo problems.

Like Enrita said, if your seals are shot you’ll be able to tell quickly. Irrelevant whether the car was hot or cold prior to pulling the downpipes.

I still think people should look into quick, cheap fixes before assuming it’s the turbo. Our PCV system SUCKS. In my case sadly it is indeed the turbo seal, but that’s not always what happens.

Check how much u're boosting - physically you wont be able to tell, my rear's leaking oil but boosts fine, JB4 can display boost on fuel or oil
