Time for new tires

So my left rear tire must have a nail in it (lost pressure completely) and hoping I can get it patched. Regardless my back tires are about done anyways, so I should prolly just replace them.

Should I stick with the bridgestone's that came with it (although I have to say I am disappointed that the tread wore off in 12,000 miles give that I don't really push it that hard)?

Anyone tried any other brands like Michelin? I haven't noticed anywhere on the recommend Michelin tires that indicate they are runflats. Are the only runflats the Bridgestones and Pirellis?
