you blokes are persuading me to keep them! I think I will fit them on tomorrow to see what they look like. have to admit I have stood them next to the car yesterday and they do look good. will let you know what I decide and if they stay will def get some pics up.

What's wrong with you, GY Asym 2's are great tyres!
I've got them on my 130i (second set) and have just ordered them for my summers on the 330i.

I ran the originals and thought them seriously lacking for RWD application. Fine on a fast ford etc but not a 350bhp RWD car.

Maybe the new ones are better. Who knows. All I know is I'm a conti or supersport man and don't see it changing in the near future.

As in Asym 1? Ok, is see your point. Asym 2 are much better, my 130i is 290bhp and with 235/40 Asym2 and a Quaife she just hooks up and goes (60 in 5 dead). Hasn't got the torque of yours though, and i suspect that's more of an issue, but i find Asym 2 better than Conti SC3 and Mich PS2, haven't tried the SC5 or PS3 yet.

have decided to sell these wheels after all for 2 reasons, 1 is I really like the 313's and 2 a business opportunity has arisen and I need every penny I can get hold of, so for sale at £2000, the wheels have gone up in price this year and a similar set on ebay is £2900
