Using sky go abroad??

I'm going to the Dominican Republic and am wondering if sky go would work on my iPad?? I'd be using the wifi at the hotel if I could get it to work

My mrs is hoping it won't work, but I was just hoping to watch some football while I'm away(sad I know

)

It should, assuming the Internet connection has got the balls! But you'll only find that out once you're there.

Sky go doesn't work from a foreign IP. The best way to get it to work is to buy a service that simulates a UK IP address. I used vpnuk.info on my recent trip to Singapore, and it worked fine, there are plenty of others.

Couldn't get it to work in Mauritius this year so the above may be true.

Yep, just like the stupid BBC iplayer. The only time I ever need either of them is when I am abroad and they don't work.

Irks me that I should have to pay for some IP spoofing system to use something that I pay handsomely for, just because I am travelling........

You can understand why they do it though. BBC iPlayer at least lets you download stuff whilst you're in the UK to watch elsewhere.
