Anyone used e-maps?
I was recommended them by a friend of a friend, just wondered if anyone had experience of them. The same guy did mention evolve but apparently E-maps will come to your house and do it.

I would also be interested in how they're rated, been looking at a few companies recently and emaps was one of them

You'd be hard pushed to find a company with such a good reputation that E-Maps enjoys,a reputation that is richly deserved.
I've used Simon (owner - E-Maps) twice now, both times on 335D's. Results were outstanding, and the claimed increases in BHP/Torque were exactly in line with what Simon had told me to expect, verified on Dyno days organised on the forum at Surrey Rolling Road. You'll find many members on here who've used E-Maps over the years, and who would no doubt also give glowing feedback. You could always pop over to BMWland, where you'll also get the same response from dozens of other pleased BMW owners. |

Simon did mine as well, very nice bloke and knows exactly what he's doing. Car drives perfectly and has done for the last year since he did the map. You won't be dissapointed.

£299 all in.He was with me for a few hours and this included tweaking the driveability on a test run.I always prefer live, rather than dyno mapping.
I've not had it on the rollers to see what it's achieving.I think the numbers (quoted) were in the region of 340-350/700nm-I can't prove these numbers though and anyway,it tends to vary on which roller you use... http://www.e-maps.co.uk/products/BMW...ies+%28e90%29/ |

There is the possibility of a group buy being run. See here for details.

Another happy e-mapper here.
Did what he claimed to be able to do, when he said he'd do it, no problems in the last 2 years and for rather less cash than most of the competition. Happy days... |
