Direct comparison, same light, cars parked next to each other:



Black sapphire from far looks basically the same as Jet Black:



But up close and in bright light, you can easily see the flecks in the paint:





The further you step back, the less you see the flecks:



Keep in mind that a black car isn't a car, it's a full-time detailing job.

that is a hard color to maintain clean...but it sure looks incredible when its nice and clean.

I went with JB because it's $500 cheaper and you can't tell the difference unless you stick your eyeball against the paint.

I have a JB and I got a loaner for a week that was SB. I couldnt wait to get my JB back. The SB in the sun looks almost graphite in color. Not for me

The darker, and deeper the color is on a black car the better it looks. JB undisputably betters SB in regards to these qualities. JB is my choice.
