He hangs out in OC alot, on weekends, had to bring my wheels up there for the repairs, but damn, so worth the trip...

Last year there was enough people up here in norcal that needed wheels to be repaired that it was worth the drive up for him. I think he mentioned something about 20-25 wheels and he hit that mark no problem and made a car meet out of it combined with door ding repair. I'm sure if you talk to him and set up some sort of meet and have a certain number of wheels, I'm thinking that he'd be willing to drive down to SD on a free weekend.

Or just wait until March when he will be onsite at LTBMW's grand opening in El Monte.

I just spoke to him today and told him that there are people in SD who are interested in having him come down. He says he will if someone sets up a date and place and guarantee that there will be plenty of work for him to do.

If there was a deep curb rash or the lip is bent, does he weld aluminum and correct the bent lip on a machine?

He helped me fix a pothole rash. His attention to detail amazing.

As for Tee212, I don't think he has a machine to fix bent lips. I suggest going to:

Ya I went to Jeff at WRS about 5 years ago to get my work equips repaired. Was just curious if son tran had the machinery to repair a larger job.

Anyone know if Son Tran can refinish chrome lips too???? Have a few rashes that need to get done but there are some scratches on my lip too so looking to get the whole thing refinished

I had the pleasure of having the wheel guru himself come down and repair a couple curb rashes on my 313's ... great quality work!!

He's such a genuine, cool cat ... as with everyone else in this thread, I recommend him HIGHLY ... even for the stories that he can tell you, alone!!
