Hi guys i need some help if anyone could please help me.

I have an e90 325i 2006 which i have just had to change the DME and CAS units because of water damage, i have the car running fine but i have the Tamper dot error and also the DSC error on now.
I have been told i need to change the vin on the new DME and CAS to get these errors to go away?
I have have some bmw software like WinKFP, ISTA+ and INPA but was there anyone out there to help me step by step me through the right way of gettid rid of the errors please.
