turned out to problem with the vanos-which apparently regulates the valve timing.
anyway a bill of €1200 but 90% covered under goodwill by bmw.
they would not pay for the programming of these so i picked up the extra tab.
only €140 an hour labour!-are they having a laugh.

b,140 euro an hour has to be criminal

c,when does the good will run out?

previous problem with the turbo flaps-any chance they could be related??

My dealers are £145/hr plus VAT.

Good will runs out whenever BMW feel like it!

Turbo flaps? Are those attached to the Beef Curtains?
