Thanks

Not yet, that was my next plan if i decide not to sell... I'm just not sure how effective that'll be since the midpipes on the E92s are pretty free flowing aside from cats.

I removed both of mine and it is night and day. Opens it up a ton. I would highly recommend it.

Not much in raleigh but if you are willing to drive an hour you got fayetteville dragstrip and rockingham. Both are very enjoyable, well prepped and quarter mile.

Still having trouble deciding what to do about exhaust...

Anyone decently close-by with a muffler delete only?

Have you tried setting the readiness codes by following the drive cycle?

Hey guys! I just picked up an 07 335i coupe w/ 58k miles. I've been driving a non-M e36 for the past 7 years. It has 200k miles and a very tired suspension. So, yeah, a big upgrade!

I'm in the Raleigh area - Garner to be exact. You also can find me on NC Euro. Look forward to meeting some of you and learning more about the new car.

There is a drag strip in Fayetteville and one in Rockingham, though I don't know if that one is open to the public. As far as tracks, we're only an hour and a half from VIR, one of the premier road courses in the US. And we're about 3 hours from Carolina Motorsports Park (CMP) in S. Carolina.

I have done a few track weekends in my old e36 and I would highly recommend them. They are a blast and you learn a lot about your car and your driving. Check out groups like NASA and Tarheel Sports Car Club.

Thanks! No particular mods in mind quite yet. I still need to figure out exactly what she already has. I bought it from a Mercedes dealer in No. VA. I do know she has BBS reps, adjustable suspension (which setup I don't know), cone intakes, AA bov, a P3cars vent gauge, MTech (?) front valence and an aftermarket trunk lid. There also is a USB cable in the glovebox which makes think it either has or had a software tune.

About the only thing I know for sure is I want to tint the windows. JB4/Procede/something might be in the future.

Yeah, it was a deal I couldn't pass up. Took a little risk, but I think I'll be good. I hope to take some more pics this weekend. I'll post up when I do.
