Another emissions question (backend flash)
Emissions test is a obd test, not sniffer
08 335 Fbo Backend flash Dp fix Set jb4 at map 0 drove 40-50 miles "not ready" status for emissions Drive another 30-40 miles... Still "not ready" for testing Look up the drive cycle on here - idle for 2/3 minutes - 30mph for 3 min 15 seconds - 40-60 for 15 minutes - idle in gear for 4/5 minutes Do that, drive to get my check, and what do ya know, still "not ready" Should i flash back to my original jb4 map? From what i have found, my "map 0" on the backend flash isnt actually "stock" any truth to this? Is it possible to gain rediness with the backend flash? Someone help lol Last edited by N3m3sis; 04-19-2014 at 11:39 PM.. |

Mess with your DP fix. You cant turn off your backend flash...you need to flash back to stock

Just went through this with procede. I had backend fuel flash. I did not have to remove it to get readiness (had recently disconnected battery to replace it, which causes readiness flags to need to be set again). Just put in procede map 0 and drove a while to get readiness. No issues with having the backend flash in place. EVAP readiness can take a long time to achieve. Do you have a tester to see if some things are ready, and some are not?
