SSDD Motorsport Superwhite LED Ring Markers?

I was wondering how these 40W Cree LED Angel Eyes compare to somethink like the LUX H8 V3? At £64.99 they seem good value too but before i buy wanted some feedback from anybody who's installed these and if they are good quality and how they look?

i have a buddy who has them and side by side they are exactly the same and look to be the same construction.

i personally think its luxs factory selling them sideways but lux will chime in here and say they are not as good and have no quality control and blah blah blah

Would there be any problems with over heating in the head lamp unit with these as its my only concern? As for quality wise they seem fantastic.

40W LED angels eyes? crikey.

That's equivalent to a 400W halogen!!

We've got a 40W LED floodlight (same Lux level as 400W halogen) at home, it lights up 1/2 an acre of garden no worries.

As these LED's get more powerful, do they still suffer from "dim outer ring syndrome" or does the extra power negate that effect?
