335i xDrive N55 Stage 1 Installation Help?
Hey guys,
I finally got the Stage 1 N55 JB tune, but I now need to install it. I am new to BMW (about 3 months), this is my first performance mod to the car. I have a 2011 335i xDrive E92. I was just wondering if anyone has detailed instructions for dumbasses like me on how to install this step by step, or if there is anyone in NY and can help install it let me know how much $ you want... Hope to get some help |

Well im in NJ, but go to BK about 4-5 times a week. Valley Stream is Long Island if I am not mistaken, if need be, i can travel there, no big deal, but question is, how much would he charge for the installation...
PS. Love your sig. "2011 335xi Coupe, NON-flying edition" lmao |

I can help you out. Stage 1 is a joke to install. Stage 2 is another story.

Hey
Thank you for helping ... in advance lol ... i was thinking of getting Stage 2 upgrade for the $150, but its a bit too steep for me, I know eventually I will find it for $100, but if I install the Stage 1 for now, how hard would it be to upgrade to Stage 2? |

You might want to think about putting on an aftermarket CP too to handle the extra boost and eliminate a future headache.

DME – Digital Motor Electronics. It's the computer that controls your car, in order to get the most out of Stage 2 you need the latest DME update.

It's really not as daunting as it seems. I had never done it before and I got it done in a couple hours, with my wife's help. PM me your number, if you'd like and I can call you and point you in the right direction
