DFW Auto Tint recommendations
I prefer a mobile tinter (my garage is clean).
Anyone know of any good tinters at a fair price in the DFW area? Where did you guys go? |

Will do. and Yes that is the correct address. The guy at the front desk is pretty cool, he answered my questions pretty thoroughly. They seem to do pretty good work from the responses he gave me.

There is also a noticeable difference in temperature with the tint, much cooler, ceramic is definitely worth the extra money. |

yea, its about time for me.. i've been putting this off. Any pics on pro tints work?
The last two cars I've had tinted from random places both had scratches. I'm hoping protint will be a good experience. |

I actually applied moleskin on one of my doors. I want to see how it performs in the summer. I have heard the adhesive melts in the summer heat; I didn't want to ruin both windows if this stuff doesn't work. |

Thanks!, I am excited to see them, As I am scheduled to go in on Sat , I am just stuck on which tint to go with Llumar sara matrix or HO, I have heard some guys say the HO causes interference with CA ?? So if you have not had any problems with CA or am/fm signal / trunk pop, I am going with what you got! =)

Huper Optik has better UV blocking percentages than LLumar Cermatrix. The price difference is really what it came down to and LLumar seems to have a wider selection of shades. The LLumar is cheaper but it still a quality film with a very decent UV blocking rating (IIRC only 10% less than the Huper).
Ceramatrix tint is a ceramic based film, so I have had no issues with CA (outside the fact that my comfort access works sporadically before hand), my V1 works flawlessly, and my Navi works just fine as well. |
