Is it wrong to buy just BMW Performance Exhaust?

Hi everyone,

I wanted my car to sound more aggressive... can the BMW performance exhaust cut it?
Do I have to purchase the BMW performance air intake as a combo?

I just went exhaust. I love it. I will say that I am contemplating getting the intake, but it by no means is necessary. The exhaust is amazing!!! You will not be disappointed.

Buy it from Tischer (as I did). They really have the best pricing around for it.

^Gruppe M has exhausts? Didn't know that...

IMHO, it's either BMW Performance, or Eisenmann... best exhausts out.

the performance exhaust ends up deleting the rear resonator though while the eisenmann muffler does not.

Not only that, the eisenmann does not make an exhaust for the E92 328 that fits without modification. BMW Performance it was for me.

Gruppe M is intake four our cars, not exhaust, as far as I know.

I have not seen a GM exhaust for the E9x at all.

I don't think Gruppe M has an exhaust for the E9X. As far as i know, they only made one for the E46 M3, by far one of the lightest (less than 5kg) and sickest (if thats even a word) exhaust available.

My buddy had one on his E46 M3, and i could literally pick it up with my finger. lol

Correction. Gruppe M does have an exhaust for the E92 M3. It'll cost you an arm and a leg though, atleast US$5000 with today's exchange rate.

Unless you got alot of $$$ to blow during these economic times, i'd probably just stick some OEM BMW performance exhaust.
