Gum on Bumper

Someone on the road though it would be fun to throw their chewing gum out of their car while on the highway. This gum hit the rear drivers side of my bumper leaving a small streak of gum. What is the easiest way to remove gum? I tried soap and water but all i seemed to do is spread it around more

Suggestions please

rain-x bug and tar pre wash gel. my dad got some gum on his car and we tried this and it came off easy as butter. you will have to re-wax the area after it is cleaned.

I take a baggie and some ice cubes and freeze it and it comes off in a hard chunk. This is the same technique for removing from carpet as well.

i was able to get it off with soap and water, I think i will pick up some goo gone for next time. Maybe it will save my arm some pain. It was pretty fresh and i wanted to get it off sooner rather than later Some people just dont think before they toss things out of their window on a freeway.

I hope you used a Microfiber and I hope you didn't scrub hard. Better check for scratches if you did.

Like the guy that threw a lit cigarette out the front window only to have it come in the open back window and catch the seat on fire. (Served him right!)
