** Official Check-in For 29.2 Issues **
Several members suggested we set up a list such as this to create a rolling tab/petition of those who are affected and unhappy with progman version 29.2 .
Please DO NOT POST DETAILS, OPINIONS, SPECULATION, CHATTER, ETC ETC IN THIS THREAD This thread is to check-in only and to add your name to the list which I can maintain below in this initial post. There are several other great threads where we can continue to discuss 29.2 without cluttering this list. The purpose of this is just to get a sense of how wide spread the impact is, and to possibly give us something to show BMW NA/AG to get the ball rolling if all else fails. Again, please just post to add your name if you have: - Received an update to 29.2 and notice the increased turbo lag - Purchased your car recently and are wondering why there is some lag and your turbos do not spool well until 3000 RPM, despite the marketing material clearly stating that "lag is eliminated" and power should be available at 1400 rpm. After you have added your name, be sure you have also read through: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=147781 and: 1. Call the bolded phone number in the initial post from the above thread, to voice your concern (800.831.1117) and 2. Go to http://www.bmw.com/com/en/general/contact/contact.html and in the upper right corner, there is a "Send e-mail to:" drop-down box, select "BMW AG worldwide" and send them and email. Please post any experience or feedback from those communications in THAT OTHER THREAD. Thanks -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Its funny, I had my car flashed in the end of april because I wanted the I drive to scroll through music faster. When I got it i said dam my low end is horrible now. Thought I was just imagining it. So when I see the posts on here I knew it was the 29.2 |
