Although the car has never been officially dyno'd to my knowledge in map 3 i've heard its around 80hp to the wheels (pathetic i know) lol. Map 2 is the more aggressive power map however and it makes around 340-350hp to the wheels and it def feels it.

And yes i did do the golf tee mod to the exhaust.
Haha Aw man that sucks because it sounds amazing. I kept watching the clip on youtube. Is it that loud on Map 2?

Thanks a bunch for sharing your absolutely amazing ED trip. I was completely inspired to not only do a ED the next time around, but to also follow my passions. Your ED trip definitely goes to 11. Just as the other posts have mentioned, you should really consider sending this to Rondel. I think they might find their ED rate increase if your story is published.

Lastly, if you need one more member to add to your next ED road trip let me know....as a petrol-head myself, I'm actually serious.

Wow... I don't really know what to say!!
Congratulations for the trip and thanks for sharing it, very very interesting! And I'm very jealous of your car: we have the same age but I have a simply 320d 'cause in Italy is almost impossible to maintain a 335i among taxes, insurance and petrol cost
Enjoy it as much as you can (and I'm sure you'll do it) also for me mate!

PS: do Spanish and French people really drive so badly? I'm in Barcelona right now and they look ok compared to Italy...

Thank you. We are pretty lucky here in the united states when it comes to cars and petrol.

I didnt really notice a lot of bad drivers in Barcelona but on the way there and back i felt constantly frustrated by someone on the road. It also depends where in Italy i guess.

Wow! And I thought that my ED (LINK) was fun! I just lived vicariously through you for the past half-hour. Great stuff, great trip.

Actually, for anyone considering it, this is a great overview of the potential fun you can have. I hear of people trying to do ED to save a few bucks. That is not what it is about. The OP has the right idea - it is to provide a trip of a lifetime!

Im glad you liked it so much and thank you for the compliments. I checked out your ED experience too and it looks like you saw a lot of nice things and had a great time. We went about our trips in a completely different way but one thing remained the same; like you said its meant to be a trip of a lifetime and we both did our ED's with that in mind. I feel bad for people who do it to save a few bucks and hope that one day they do it for the reasons we did.

HE IS THE BEST! We are both lucky sir. To be handed over your car by Bernard, an ED legend made it even more special. I will request at all costs to repeat the delivery with him next time.

I honestly wanted to keep up more with it but i didnt know the lines at all on the track and not crashing was more important to me so i let him go. Also the red vette got in the way a bit. Red vette was also driven by and FBI or CIA agent (i forget which one) from chicago with his wife. We chatted for a bit, he was a cool dude.
