Apex EC-7 Tire Recommendation

Hello, I just got my Apex EC-7 18x9 31 and 18X9.5 22. I will need to purchase tires soon. I personally don't like the stretch tire look and would like to get the largest tire possible without rubbing.

I have a Pre-LCI E90. I am planning to get my rear fender rolled and maybe the front if need be.

I was thinking about running 235/40/18 front and 255/35/18 rear. Do you guys think this will work with a basic fender roll? Any other recommendation?

Thanks

I have the same setup on my lci e92 and did 255/35 in the front and 265/35 in the rear. It's the perfect fitment I was looking for and doesn't rub at all (with a good fender roll in the rear and camber).

Those tires will definitely look stretched over the wheels you ordered. Since you are planning on getting your rear fenders rolled I would get a 265/35/18 rear tire for a straight looking sidewall. The 235/40/18 front tire you also had in mind would have a stretched sidewall so I would recommend a 245/40/18 front tire. The front fenders on your car are plastic so they cannot be rolled but you can remove the alignment pins and get about -1.5 degrees camber that will help reduce rubbing. A 245/35/18 front tire is also possible and will be easier to fit but also may start to show sidewall flex. Ideally the front would get a 255/35/18 tire and camber plates with the required negative camber to fit the wider tire. This fitment is also very dependent on the type of tire you end up using. A Hankook V12 or Michelin Pilot Super Sport will be much easier to fit than an Extreme performance tire like the Hankook RS3 or Dunlop Star Spec because the extreme performance summer tire will run much larger in the same sizing.
