Quality, like their HPFP?

Tinkering is fun for some people. Why pay $120+, or whatever the current price is, for a Euro light module when you can make a small modification for free? There is nothing wrong with that.
I actually paid 60 bucks for the switch, but there is nothing wrong with tinkering. I also believe this is the switch you need if you are going to do a factory upgrade to Xenon headlights. I built my own and used a high quality error corrector so I don't need that feature. But, I do like the fact that the light switch illuminates at night and is noticeable to the BMW enthusiast that you are not using a stock switch.

In addition with the HID kit for only $49.99 I have only $60.95 (+ shipping) in this beautiful kit. I opted for the 3000K look because I think it contrasts well against the AW but DDM has a variety of temps for bulbs. Enjoy and feel free to ask any questions.

PS - I tried the error cancelors that DDM offers and they are a no go. They do not work on our cars.

Wow this is really confusing i read like 3-4 pages and seems like alot of people are confused. Would the original poster update the first post and clarify things for people. I would really help everyone. A FAQ would also be great.

Thanks in advance if you can do that.

I don't think that's happening. He hasn't posted in almost a year, and received a negative trader rating a month after his last post.

The high performance bulbs kit has been very succesful for 07.

However not all pre lci 07 models are the same.

Ive seen the kits work on some Pre lci and not the other.

Ahh...no. No, that is not supposed to happen. It sounds like you got the wrong capacitor, because it exploded. Here's the best analogy I have to what happened:
Imagine a garden hose. Ok, now, Imagine a garden hose turned on, with your finger over the end. If you keep the pressure on what most houses would send out, its pretty easy right? Ok, now, imagine you are holding your thumb on the end of a garden hose. But this time, it's hooked up to a pressure washer used to clean jet engines. Your thumb would not be able to hold back that pressure--in fact, it would probably be removed from your hand with the pressure. Imagine the water in the hose is the electricity going to the bulbs, and your thumb is the capacitor.
