If you want to you can test the instrument panel yourself before going to a dealer.
This thread has details of hidden menus available through the on-board computer http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=227740. One of the options in the hiddens menus is to test the instrument panel. All of the dials go to their maximun position and then return to their minimum. Maybe the fuel guage will start to behave normally again after being forced to go through its test. |

just tried the instrument test tested all the gauges as it says but didn't work.......thanks for the link very handy.......best phone the stealer now.....
