Help, please: No sound coming from stereo

I started my car (335 coupe) up tonight and was greeted with dead silence. No matter what I tried I couldn't get any sound through the stereo from the FM/AM radio, CD player, or satellite. I then pressed the voice command button on the steering wheel, hoping to hear the beep prompting me to speak, but again, no sound. I thought maybe I had pressed the volume knob button inadvertently and turned the radio off, but I didn't. I turned the car off and restarted it but that didn't work, either. Can anybody tell me what is going on?

Happend to me once.
But I let the care reset itself & everything was back to normal.
Try this morning, after it is shut overnight. If its a glitch then things will revert back to normal.

Started it up the next morning and thankfully the problem was gone.

it happened to me as well, turns out the amp was dead. And there's a bulletin on it as well, I guess the amp is not as well built as BMW would like.
