Hello

I have done the 6FL USB retrofit now and installed everything including a MULF2 High.

Now I need help to code this.

I have BMW professional stereo, I can not see the USB option there.

I have put $6FL in VO for CAS.

What more should I do to code this?

I think all you need is +KMP3 and +IPOD in the VO. I have CCC and had to add "MP3_CCC FULL" to the cappl module, but I don't know if there's anything needed in the radio.

Did you do this with SSS progman or NCS Expert?

I bought a new uncoded MULF2 High, do you know if I have to enable USB in MULF?

I don't know. I didn't need a new MULF. I just added the VOs and re-coded the CCC in NCSExpert.

If you have SSS Progman then it should be a simple matter of punching a couple of buttons in the "retrofits" section. I'm pretty sure 6FL was available as of SSS V32.

Yes I have also SSS progman v32.
But progman want's to update all ECU modules in the car before I can do anything. I don't know if it's safe to do that?

I have tried to add $6FL to VO and reprogram all modules that I can communicate with.

I get the USB option in my stereo, but can't use it.
USB-port got no power (0v).

I bought the MULF2 HI unit new and uncoded from ebay. Do I have to code it activate USB?
And is the only way to code it with OPS?

Do I need to change production date in my VO?

I have now #0308

And I use NCSExpert with v45 daten files

And if I change my production date, do I need to update all ecu´s with v45 software?

USB IS NOW WORKING!

I changed production date in VO to #1114
I also added this to the VO: -KMP3, -IPOD

Then I did a reprogram for 2RAD.

But have not tested IPOD functionality yet....

Anyone now if it is any disadvantage to change VO production date from #0308 to #1114 ?

how did you change the production date in VO?

did you simply replace the old with new one , then FA Write to CAS and FRM?

I changed in VO string and wrote to CAS and NFRM.

But I don't think it is neccesary to change that, because I have changed back and everyhing works great!
