HELP: Black screen on Idrive screen but radio works fine
I have a 2011 335xi e90 and when I started my car about 30mins ago the Idrive screen went to a red color then black..the radio still works and phone (Bluetooth) still work fine. This morning the screen worked perfectly fine with zero issues. I was on vacation all last week and the car wasn't turned on for about 7-9 days...I'm pretty sure that doesn't effect anything but that is the scenario.
Any help would be greatly appreciated..I'm pretty frustrated right now. Thanks, Jeff

Check your connections on the rear of the CIC (idrive computer) are secure and on the CID (the screen) are secure. The red screen happens when the video output fails/is interrupted.

Any updates on this? My iDrive screen just went blank yesterday and won't turn on anymore. Radio / controls / everything works, but just no picture.
