Thats one of the most appealing things about it.Not taking anything out and putting it back in for a service, other than a routine oil change, etc.

I should add, if they were conservative in the numbers (which I doubt) and it made closer to 350 WHP and 380 WTQ, it would be intriguing.
I remember Dinan's Turbo E30 M3 dyno # in the early 90s. They were so high it was obviously inflated. I estimate whatever dyno figure they got they added 20+% as loss and called it crank hp.

Yep, i orderd my 335xi coupe from them, and SHOULD be picking it up tomorrow! Ill definitley talk to the service/parts guys and see what info they can give me on the dinan flash.

Only thing that is holding me back is the damn oil cooler. That will bump the price up from roughly 2000 to over 3000 i'm sure with labor. maybe they can give me a discount as i just bought my car from them. The removal of the speed limiter is my favorite part about this, as the 335xi's got shafted i believe with a 130mph limiter, unless you got the 18" wheels and oil cooler once again!!

THe Oil Cooler should be an option all on its own, or part of the sport package, just make the price higher if thats the problem. I would've ordered it if i knew it existed. I mean, its my fault for not researching that in depth, but who would think that you need to buy a wheel package to get something as important as an oil cooler.

1999 + 1hr labor + tax 8.5% = ~ $2300

I thought they said either with the OEM oil cooler or theirs...

Yes they did. Unfortunately for me i have neither. 335xis only get them when you order the 18' sport wheel package. I didn't know that when i placed my order.

The price is way to high and I don't mind paying top dollar for peace of mind. $1,000 would be fair, $1,500 is pushing it, $2,000 is bull shit. I have a two year lease with one year left. When you turn your car in a reflash is worth $0.00. IMO, the Dinan price will cause a bunch of people who were patiently waiting to jump to Procede, Xede, TT, or the JB.

+1. That's what I've been saying for the past 6 months...the greatest advantage of a piggyback like the PROcede and XEDE are the fact that it's transferable to another car with the same engine. So, you pay $1,450 for the PROcede v2, which makes much more HP/TQ than the Dinan ECU Flash and you can take it with you (to either transfer to another 335i OR sell it).

Very true. But thats not the customer base Dinan is appealing to.

At $2000 installed with warranty coverage they are a serious competator. I don't think it will effect JB2/TT sales, and maybe won't effect Helix sales, but the higher priced guys do have something to worry about.

Really? Or, are you just trying your best to "scare" a few potential customers away from Shiv, only to point them in your direction, perhaps?

Hello, Admins...Terry is doing it again...ha ha.

Will they even accept a lease return that had a dinan flash? A buddy of mine had a 330i e46 with Dinan flash, intake and exhaust. When he went to return it, they wouldn't accept it and he had to buy it outright. They said they cannot CPO a Dinan'ed car so, they can't take it back.
