255/35/19 front and 275/35/19 rear on E92 335i?

Anyone running either of these sizes? My first thought was that they would rub, but some searching resulted in some mentions of these sizes working. One individual is running 513Ms with the stock M3/4 tire sizes of 255/40 and 275/40 18s. Those have the exact same outer dimensions as the 19s I want to run, and the wheels are the same widths and offsets. I'm currently on stock MSport suspension, he's lowered on PSS9s

What are the wheel offsets you plan to run?

Don’t know if this helps or not but I ran 255/35 fronts and 275/35 rears on 18” rims and it worked fine. Front rim was 18x8.5 et32.5 (et 45 with a 12.5mm spacer) and rear was 18x9.5 et33

And I’m lowered e92 about 1/2” rear drop and 3/4” front drop. The tires I ran were the Hankook Ventus v12 which have slender shoulders (lol).

I think if you are running around et35 front and rear you can probably make that combo work.

^Doesn't really help considering OP will be a full inch bigger in rotating diameter.

OP, your proposed sizes are basically E92 M3 GTS spec, which are almost a whole inch taller than the recommended 19" rotating diameter for the non-M cars. It may work, but ideally why not get something that's meant to fit properly instead? Tires are a big purchase, may as well do it right the first time around.

The wheels are 437Ms. I fell in love with them and had to have them and just bought a set. I'm prepared to run 255/30 and 275/30, but was hoping to get a little more meat/sidewall. I was actually ready to order those sizes when I decided to look around one more time and came across the possibility of the 35 series tires fitting.

I didn't save the thread, but I'll dig it up later. For reference, the poster fit 513Ms with 255/40/18 and 275/40/18 Michelins, and that's my tire of choice, PS4S to be exact.

513M
18x9 +29
18x10 +40

437M
19x9 +29
19x10 +40

255/40/18 is identical to 255/35/19.
275/40/18 is identical to 275/35/19...or close enough, within a MM or two.

I'm in between running these two wheels as well. From my research and experience with wheel fitment on our platform, I've decided to not get creative in trying to fit oversized tires, going to go with either 235/40/18 & 275/35/18 or 235/35/19 & 275/30/19.

My setup:
245/35/19 19x9.5 et 32 front
275/30/19 19x10 et 40 rear

It rubs on big dips but I am lowered on eibach pro kit.
I think the front size you want (255/35) should be ok but I would bet the rear (275/35) will rub for sure.

I found the thread I was referencing earlier, relevant info starts at post #22. The 255/40/18 front and 275/40/18 rear have the same outer dimensions as 255/35/19 and 275/35/19, and 513Ms are the same width and offset as my 437Ms. In theory, this should fit without rubbing.

Do you know where you're rubbing? Fender edges, liners, sides, top...? Are your fenders rolled at all?

Hard to say but I assume fender liners (top or sides) as I'm not quite flush and no they aren't rolled

I can say that before I had the 245/35 tires on the front I was running 235/35. I didn't like the stretch of these tires so that's why I swapped to a wider tire. When I did I started rubbing upfront.

When you look at the difference between 235 and 245 on the same wheel and offset there is not much but apparently enough to rub.

This seems to be the norm with cars with factory oil coolers, 235s are fine but 245s rub. I'm sticking to 235 in front for my 335is

As far as 19s go, 235/35 and 275/30 are a perfect rolling diameter match, and a slightly larger diameter to OEM. Many try to match ///M3 diameters, which is slightly tall and wide for our run-of-the-mill e9Xs, especially when lowered.

Thanks. Prior to the VMR wheels, I had satin black Avant Garde M359 19x9s and 10s with spacers. It gave the car an aggressive ///M3 CRT look. Then, I got the itch to comfortably maximize wheel width without too much tire stretch and with the intention to go with a classic silver look. The VMR V810 with its seven spokes visually opens up to show the brakes (BBKs in the future?), retaining the timeless somewhat BMW-esque CSL Y-spoke wheel design.

Adjusted the stance (lower 3/4" overall) over the weekend . . . poke is minimal with the wide 9.5 and 10.5 wheels.

Thinking to put bigger tyres on my e92 m-sport . The rims size are 8.5x19 et30 and 9.5x19 et25. Im thinking something like 235/30/19 and 275/35/19. Is it possible?

My rear is now 255/35/19 without issues. So maybe 265?

Should be running 235/35 on the fronts.
265/30 on the rears.

I'll be pushing the limits of rear fitment (at least for my e90). With only the "minor" fender shaving, I'll be fitting 19x11 et35 and 285/30. If needed, I have spacers to achieve the flush wheel/fender. Pictured is the current 19x10.5 et35 with 5mm spacer and 275/30.
