MA: Spring meet up ideas
Instead of ruining amr_e90's sh!t thread, I figure I'll bring this to another.
Ideas for spring meet ups? Might give us some hope to what we can do once the snow is gone. |

F1 boston
kelly's roast beef scenic cruise meet, drive up the coast autoX meet up, if you don't want to autoX you can watch/hang go karting meet scenic drive into VT/NH, camping for the night, booze + beef. Epping NH dragstrip meet, don't snap an axle Pizza place meet like last year was fine and they were extremely accommodating. State park meet BBQ. My question would be do people want to just to stand around in a parking lot looking at E90s meet or make an event out of it meet like: F1, AutoX, Camping, BBQ, etc. I'm down for either depending on the time of year and my availability.

I'm down. I like the activity idea / F1...
I know I'm planning on seeing it, but fast furious 7 (figure keep it car related) at assembly row in Somerville. Large parking lot, and lots of bars & restaurants to pre game at before. |

Assembly Row is a good suggestion. I'm always there. There is plenty of parking, both open and covered, as well as a few good restaurants and bars. We can let Hadley run around Legoland if he wants.

Talk about a shit thread I'm still in skiing mode. I can see nobody gets work done on Fridays haha.
On the reals can we do F1 already. I know. As much as I love to bask in the glory of my car I would rather be racing it or at least race something. On that note anybody ski or snowboard just about every weekend I am at a mtn. Jay, cannon, Sunday River, Killington, going to wildcat this weekend. Would be down meeting at the slopes as a new meeting spot the go skiing, have not been tubing in ages - drunk tubing sounds fun.

yes...yes it does.
I think ice racing would be fun but no idea if anyone does it around here. Probably need a separate set of wheels/tires and awd.

It probably is more fun on a bike but an e30/46 would be awesome.

Autozone does not carry them. It's my own fault running at street pressure and not getting out of the hop when it happened. After a real suspension and diff lockdown kit I will be back!

Don't be mad. It's valentines day.
Mtn. trip would be fun. Carpooling in all the x-drives. For local activities, F1 sounds great once the roads clear. I'd probably suggest an early morning time to avoid other people on the track, and then we could grab lunch. I'll post up the Larz Anderson Cars & Coffee meet times once announced for 2015. |
