He's is definitely big lol. The tortoise's name is Turbo and I actually don't feed him at all anymore. I have an acre backyard with plenty of flowers and grass for him to smash on. He is an African Sulcata desert tortoise and he's 11 years old right now weighing in at 97 pounds. He should get up to about 200 pounds which should be interesting. Trying to weigh him on a normal scale is quite the job lol

Our 2 rescued Labs; both had been abandoned to their own fate.

At least he took them to a Rescue Centre. Our 2 were just kicked out and found wandering. The big boy, Bailey, was found in a filthy state in some local woods. He had been chipped and was taken back to the original owner who said "isnt it obvious I dont want him, I didnt bother to report him missing". The girl, Sophie, was found starving and well under weight. She is still obsessed with food and gobbles here food down in seconds- I mean she really attacks the food dish. Some people !

Makes me sick to think of people just ditching dogs.
I'd adopt a rescue dog tomorrow if it weren't for my two (admittedly, highly strung) cats Ron & Reg who totally ruled Dylan (the Doberman), as they were there first and therefore dominant. Not sure how a full grown dog coming in would take to that, but I assume not well...

Sorry to hear that Si,I knew he was poorly, but not that you'd lost him.

So sad when a loved pet passes away.
