HELP! I plugged in computer to my e92 and now getting codes!
So I've been looking over how to code for the past few weeks and decided to give it a try. This morning I plugged into my car, opened NCS Expert, loaded expert mode, and selected my chassis to get a "CHASSIS IS FAULTY" message. I realized this was because I didn't downloaded the necessary daten files.
Other than that, all I opened was WinKFP, selected comfort mode, and saw that it asked for VIN so I stopped there and closed it. I then proceeded to turn on the car to find this (please see video)...IF the video doesn't work, here is a description of what happens...The idle consistently jumps up and down from 1000rpm to 1400rpm. I quick opened BMW Logger to find these codes: 2CFB - Throttle-valve adaption value 2D09 - Throttle valve WTF! Any help will be GREATLY appreciated. Was I not supposed to turn on the car? Thank you in advance. UPDATE: The car idles normally in Drive and Reverse. The problem is only in Park and Neutral.
