Looking to lower my 2011 335is. I like the stance with H&R sport springs, but from what I'm reading, the ride will be compromised and my stock shocks will go quick. I know coil overs is the answer, but don't really want to drop the dough on it since all I'm really looking for is to get rid of the gap in the front.

Looking for some advice from the forum.

Just pony up the extra dough and get the KWv1s that is exactly what I had to do.

That's what I'm thinking. I'm coming from an e90 and the e92 ride already seems bouncy stock.

You don't need coil overs
Get the H&R sport springs and install some new Koni yellows (adjustable sports shocks) They are shorter than the stock shocks and designed to operate in the same zone as the H&R sports springs..... should be able to get a new set of Konis cheap

Looks perfect! How's the ride? Are you rolled, issues w/ rubbing?

I'm coming from a e90 which seemed like a stiffer ride than the e92. My e92 seems bouncy and has too much roll.

Curious, how does a set of ST coilovers compare in price to springs + koni yellows? The OP being from AZ, ST's will work fine with their galvanized coating (no road salt down there).

Just another option if you think you might want to fine tune the ride height front to rear. Some folks care, some don't.

No fender roll or issues with ride or rubbing, car sits nice and planted on the road which reduces roll compared to stock. But im still running stock run flats, might be a different story if I swap out the run flats one day. Only thing I find with this setup is you need to take it slow over speed humps, railway lines, avoid pot holes and manhole covers... hell anything that isn't perfectly flat lol

I don't track my car so I didn't want coils do to ride quality. I went with H&R sport springs with Koni yellow shocks/struts and I'm very happy with the setup. I've been running it for the last year.

I don't have any plans to track the car. I'm good with the rear drop, but can't stand the front. I've also been looking at lowering perches. I'm thinking I won't be satisfied with the drop from the perch alone.

Looks like H&R sports w/ Koni Yellows are the way to go.

Bilstein B12 is the way to go IMHO. Look it up. Basically it is Bilsetein B8 & Eibach Pro-Kit springs, but I think they are a bit tuned to go better with each other.

Of course you won't go bad with Konis, but maybe a better combo is with Swift Spec-R springs.
