Can you get the stickers off? Is intake safe from water splash? I wonder if taking the airbox out helps airflow to the rear of the engine (and through the radiator & IC)?

actually its not a sticker, its a badge that i think is welded on.. its got some thickness to it, which is probably why it looks like its comin off

badges do not come off cuz i think theyre welded on? not sure. intake is safe from water splash its way up in the engine bay, not towards the floor. i suppose taking out the airbox would help, but i dont think tremendously or enough to make a difference.

thanks for the comments guys

a forum supporter needs to make a little snorkel like the plastic one feeding the cones. I would pick that up for my Logic HVI in a second.

Also: I wonder if this intake would clear the TIAL bov kit I have in...

Just modify your stock one Cheaper to replace the stock one when needed then an aftermarket one will probably cost.

Sorry for the OT. Intake looks good, I don't know about the badge whoring all over though.

My thoughts:

Nice responses from the OP. Thanks!

The system looks great -- not sure if the beautiful blue filters will fade with use.

I would prefer to save the ounce of wasted weight and nuke the injen labels.

Looks great! My favorite intake out right now. I could do without the sticker/badges on the intake tubes though. Reminds me of GT-Rs twin turbo intake system..

According to what I've read online the amsoil filters have to be cleaned every 20,000 miles or every year. Which ever comes first.
