looking to buy a new helmet (long island)

like the title says i am in the market for a new helmet. i would like to try a few of them on before i purchase one and i am looking for a good place where i can try on a few of them to figure out which one i want. any help is appreciated.

What kind of helmet? Road Racing helmet? Motorcycle? what size you looking for?

road racing. i have a couple of HPDE events coming up. not sure about the size, i have a fat head so i really have no clue. i need to find a shop that has a few so i can try them on.

Keep in mind that race helmets have expirations. The SA2010 approved helmets were released in 2010 and is good for 5 years so ensure you look on the back of the helmet and read the stamping.

I drove up to driving impressions yesterday in Dover, NJ... They have a shop at NJMP also. Wish I'd known or called before stopping by. Definitely want to try on helmets or buy multiple helmets in different sizes and try them on if you decide to buy online. What a pain... I might have one up for sale shortly... The shape of your head matters also...
