Car surging badly!
In the past 2-3 weeks I noticed my car surging badly when switching from park to reverse (first thing in the morning backing out from garage) or backing out from a parking stall and every other low speed situation. I had the DME updated back in March because I complained to the dealer about this problem, after the DME update it was fine, now it seems as though the issue has returned. I had my COBB installed all summer with no problems whatsoever and when the car started doing this I uninstalled it thinking it MIGHT be the cause, but doing so changed nothing. I have an appointment for Nov 3 to get the Vanos recall done and I guess I'm asking if this could be an issue related to that.

Could be a vacuum leak. Check the brake booster large vacuum line . Check the small lines behind the oil filter housing and check the diverter's vacuum line to the manifold.

Sounds more like a leaky or dirty injector. Keep us posted.
