Lexus IS F-Sport Sedan Line for 2011 - Updated pics

Found this on clublexus...thought I'd share

• All-New IS 350 All-Wheel Drive Model
• New F Sport Package for IS 250/350 Rear-Wheel Drive Model
The F Sport Package available for the 2011 IS 250/350 RWD takes inspiration from the IS F ultra-performance sedan, combining special suspension and steering tuning and 18-inch wheels with distinctive design touches. Giving the IS 250/350 F Sport Package model a sporty demeanor are a front lip spoiler and rear deck spoiler, plus the 18-inch alloy wheels with a dark super-chrome finish. There is also a matching dark-chrome front grille insert, and a new Ultrasonic Blue exterior color is available in conjunction with the F Sport Package. Inside, special F Sport heated front seats feature a special microfiber insert and leather side bolsters to provide more grip for the driver and passenger during cornering. The package also adds F Sport badging to the steering wheel, shift knob and doorsill scuff plates.
• Revised Front Styling and Interior Trim

UPDATED PICS 08/10/10 - http://www.autoguide.com/gallery/gal...ort/?g2_page=1

I dunno man... Those front splitters on the corners look like shit that high off the ground.

Otherwise, it looks good. Glad they're finally releasing an AWD 350.

Like the old one more. The LED integration in the front is horrible and the front bumper does not go with the rest of the car, this is a cosmetic change for the sake of being a change. Nothing constructive.

Japanese car designers seem to be scared of the surface of the road. German cars, in particular, look like they are trying to become one with the road surface and the Japanese offerings look like they're trying to repel it.

This car is a terrible attempt at keeping up with the German manufactures by copying everything they do. The car is hideous.

Corolla front bumper looks exactly the same:

Had an 06 IS 350 and couldn't get rid of it soon enough. Talk about no steering feedback. Brick hard suspension but zero road feel. Weird feeling when driving spirited. Fun car on a smoth road in a straight line. Very small inside. Our one and only venture into the Lexus arena.

LOL!

Clearly you have no idea what you're talking about. Where did I say I like it?
The comments are amusing coming from a BMW forum. Who is BMW to criticize on design appearance, considering that they've chosen the Audi "every car looks the same" design language. A4/A6/A8 and 3/5/7 series....mirror images of each other with different proportions.

The pictures that have been shown here are actually of the IS 350 with full F-sport accessories. The regular IS 350 still looks essentially the same. So what exactly did they f*ck up???

As an F owner, I'm actually less than impressed that Lexus expanded the paint line up to include Ultra Sonic Blue on other models (new IS 350 and IS C). It still looks best on the F and should have remained exclusive to it.

I should have clarified that the pictures up are of the is w/ f sport pkg. I added a pic of the standard is350. I agree that the ultrasonic blue should have stayed a IS-F exclusive paint color similar to interlagos blue for the M3. Interesting reactions, IMO I think its a sharp looking car and competition always produces better products so the more the better

Since most everything Lexus do is unoriginal (including the color to commonize between their normal and F-Models), you dont even have a leg to stand when you take a moral high ground regarding creativity. Just look at the LED's, integrated in exactly the same place you find them in Audi's.

Even Lotus took time to integrate them somewhere else.

Such a lame argument to bring Lotus into the discussion considering who they had to go to to build their motors.

Apparently, making their model lines look different is "unoriginal" compared to the copy cat design strategy of BMW and Audi?...lol.

There are multiple car companies...including Ferrari....that put the LED threads just below the lamps....how many other places can you put them???

What do you want them to do exactly give me a break...Audi has S-Line, Bmw M-Sport, Lexus F design........how can they do different.........this forum kills me something...Bmw is not where the world ends....
