Quick Cable Compatability Confirmation
I have been reading around, but cant find a 100% confident confirmation that this cable from canada:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-BMW-INPA...93300c&vxp=mtr Will work on my 2008 BMW 335i Coupe (e92) without any issues Please let me know, I really appreciate the help. Thank you! |

My personal best answer is: No way to tell for sure until you plug it in. That was my personal experience anyway - two cables from the same company, both look very similar but are completely different cables. One never worked once, the second one worked perfectly and immediately.
( http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=788664 ) Having said that, the cable housing and board layout on your listing appear the same as my SECOND one, which DID work. Your CE sticker is different and the board colour is WHITE however. My BLUE board never worked, the GREEN one worked. That seems to be on par with other member's experiences also - I thought I recalled someone saying the WHITE board also worked for them, but BLUE seems to be problematic for most. Could be a completely random red herring, I have no idea. I also paid the same as your listing - about $50 for mine. Buyer beware. Seems to be a crap shoot unless you spend $100+ right off the hop. Fyi. |

LOL thanks, I already sent you a pm regarding the VM 32-bit OS I need to install on my 64-bit windows 7 ultimate. I'm pretty computer smart so I'm pretty sure I can get this setup, but will pm you whenever I run into a problem.
