>> LuxAngelEyes ˃˃ LUX H8 160- 7000K White LED Angel Eyes, 160W equivalent

Once again LUX sets the industry benchmark for LED replacement lighting with our latest product, the LUX H8 160 Angel Eyes . These pure white angel eyes replacements offer a clean updated look to the car closely resembling the newer model cars. The LUX H8 160 angel eyes patented design utilizes 8 Cree LED's offer unmatched brightness to both the inner and outer angel eyes

LUX H8 160 angel eyes produce a total of 3200 lumen of pure white 7000k light which is the halogen equivalent of 160 watts! The stock 35 watt halogen bulb receives only 80-90% power and then drops to 50% power when utilized with the headlights; thus causing the angel eyes to become much dimmer. This is done to reduce heat within the headlight housing. Our LUX H8 160 angel eyes compensate for this dimming and always operate at full power allowing them to be clearly visible in the daytime . Our LED bulbs use a fraction of the power allowing them to run cooler and have a longer lifespan.

The LUX H8 160 offers the following Features:

• Pure white 7000K white light
• Equivalent to 160 watt halogen bulb
• Over 2x brighter than stock bulbs
• Guaranteed no dimming with all lighting modes
• No flickering on start-up Self Check Sequence
• Please Note - the Fade off feature may cause the angel eyes to pulse off
• Fully Fused and No EMI
• Brightest H8 Style LED Angel Eyes on the Market
• US Patent Number D720,483

Whoa.. what the...! Just when I was about to order the Lux V5 for my early 2007 E92, LUX releases these. I guess it makes sense. No one really needs the adjustability of the V5's... most people stick to one color around the 7000K color mark. And looking at the pictures, they are quite noticeably brighter than the V5's.

Hopefully LUX will focus on this new product instead, and release a version for the early 2007 E92s.

Well for the early 2007 coupes we only offer the LUX H8 V5 angel eyes and we will not be producing these for the LUX H8 160 lights

We plan to keep both models actually since a large majority of people prefer the unique adjustable of the V5's. Being able to pick a color that looks best with the car is very important and we see all different color temperatures from people.

Since the winter was so bad the last 2 months we have not been able to get a good photo shoot day. The video shows the lights with sunlight shining onto the car and you can still clearly see the rings.

Would you be able to get in some more shots/vids of some of your older versions vs this? Like the v4 vs this in a vid or something. Also some side angles. Probably end up buying if it's a good upgrade from the v4.

Sure i can work on getting some comparison videos of all the versions.

Side angles are very deceiving since the outer ring is not visible when you look at it from certain angles.

That's true but the comparison videos would be a great addition to show off the new lux. Looking forward to seeing them.

Now that you've released these new bulbs, it's going to be tough to get people to buy the "lesser" but more expensive V5s.

hmm what would happen if we continue to install these in the early models?

Is that 3200 lumen per bulb or total?

In all honesty, this is still probably half as bright as an HID option right? (disregarding the downsides of going HID).

These are 3200 lumen in total, 1600 per side. We have nto compared them to HID, but the problem with HID is the inner rings are so bright and the outer ones are still dim. Our patented design focuses as much light as possible into the outer rings to make all 4 rings as close to even brightness as possible.

Not true because each light has its own distinct advantage. The 160's are slightly brighter than the V5's, but they are a fixed color. the H5's offer the adjustable colors so you can pick a much warmer color or a cooler color. The output of the 2 is very similar and they are both extremely bright.

We did a side by side comparison and a number of people said it was hard to tell the difference between them. So if you go with Either the LUX H8 V5's or the LUX H8 160's you are still getting an amazing product regardless

On the Lux site they say :

Comparison of the LUX H8 160 vs. LUX H8 V5

LUX H8 160 LUX H8 V5
1600 lumen per side 1200 lumen per side
Fixed Color 7,000K Adjustable color from 5,000K - 12,000K
Allows for personalization to match the color

On the newer models (F30) what is the Lumen and what "K" is it on the LED Headlights?Look pretty white then bluish.

Oh I see and what about the lumens?
The F30 intensity are very bright just to compare to the Lux H8 160.

The physcial design of the headlights are so much different between the E90 and F30's that you cant compare them to each other. We will work to get a side by side picture, which will be more useful.
